At Amnesty International USA’s Annual Conference, Hasina Jalal called for the immediate reversal of the Taliban’s restrictions on the fundamental rights of women and girls in Afghanistan. With universities reopening and female students barred from returning to classes, she urged the international community to act collectively and responsibly to pressure the Taliban to end these oppressive measures.
