Hasina Jalal conducted a virtual meeting with Afghan women leaders, human rights defenders, and peace and youth activists based in Afghanistan, Greece, Iran, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. The group called on the UN to hold host countries accountable for the forced deportation of Afghan refugees and asylum seekers, and urged stronger international support through education and job opportunities for women, as well as resilience and capacity-building initiatives.
