Hasina Jalal Honored by the Afghan Presidential Palace
Hasina Jalal, along with fellow UNDP Asia-Pacific N-Peace Awardees, was formally honored by the Afghan Presidential Palace in recognition of her contributions to human rights and social justice.
As part of this recognition, her portrait was displayed on the walls of the historic Chahar Chenar Palace, alongside those of other distinguished award recipients. This public honor reflected national acknowledgment of the role played by Afghan women and youth leaders in advancing peace, dialogue, and community resilience.
The inclusion of her image within the Presidential Palace symbolized both institutional recognition and a lasting tribute to the impact of the N-Peace network in Afghanistan and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
